I was born in 1950. I graduated from The duCret School of Art in Plainfield,N.J. where I studied painting and sculpture. Although sculpture and carving wood captured my youthful enthusiasm, I would find a short while later, after painting scenery for a regional theater in N.J., that even though painting offered me a greater challenge, it also offered me greater rewards. In the '80s, I attended The Art Students League of N.Y.C. and The National Academy of Art, also in N.Y.C. where I had the good fortune to study with Dan Green, Harvey Dinnerstein and Ron Sherr. I live in Ashland,Oregon, where I also maintain my studio.
